Demeter is the Great Mother Goddess of the Greeks and the Eleusinean Mysteries, she is particularly the Goddess of the fields of wheat and the plenty of the earth. She is called the Queen of the Bountiful Harvest. As with all the older forms of the Goddess, she appears as the combined trinity. She is invoked for good crops, plentiful and comfortable living, peaceful and prosperous community.
