How to Burn Resin on Charcoal Tablets:
To burn resins and gums, place a charcoal tablet on an incense burner. Light the charcoal tablet on the bottom edge until it begins to ignite. Let it sit until the coal is hot and has started to glow, then place your resin on the charcoal. The coal will burn for a couple of hours and as the resin burns out, you can continue to place more resins on the charcoal.
