The History of Dragon Herbarium

Dragon Herbarium, located in Portland Oregon, is owned and operated by Bob Keith (A.K.A. Dragon Bob) and his wife, Wendi.  Dragon Herbarium received the 'Dragon' part of it's name due to the passion Bob has for collecting dragons.

The store was first opened as Love's Herbarium in the mid 1970's by a friend of Dragon Bob's named Richard Love.  Shortly after the herbarium was opened, Bob went to work for Love and in the early 1980's eventually bought him out and changed the name to Dragon Herbarium.  Since then the inventory of herbs and teas has now grown to well over 400 varieties along with many other various items to choose from.

Dragon Herbarium first came to the World Wide Web in 1995 with a one page text file that, over the years, has grown to 70 pages including a full service online shopping cart system.
