Culinary Uses: Wintergreen is used as a flavoring agent, and can be used to make root beers or flavoring for candy. To make a tea, pour 1 cup boiling water over 1 teaspoon of Wintergreen Leaf, cover and steep 5 minutes.
Medicinal Uses: Wintergreen can be used internally for chills, cramps and menstrual discomforts, is a diuretic, is a mild stimulant, promotes menstrual discharge. Externally as an astringent, as an aromatic.
