Culinary Uses: Sage enhances pork, lamb, meats, sausages, beans, and in poultry and game stuffings. Chopped leaves flavor salads, pickles, and cheese.
Medicinal Uses: Tea cooked from White Sage leaves can be taken internally as a poison oak remedy. It is also used as an external treatment, and areas affected by poison oak are generously bathed in the same solution.
Precautions and Adverse Reactions: Sage should not to be used during pregnancy. Not recommended for long term use.
