Description:
Watercress is a semi-aquatic perennial herb, belonging to the Cruciferae (Brassicaceae) family. It ia a creeping plant that adapts to water or wet soils. It has smooth, shining brownish-green leaves, heart shaped leaflets, the terminal one being larger than the rest. Flowers are small and white, and are produced towards the extremity of the branches.
