Description:
Senega Snake Root, also called Senega Snakeroot, is perennial herb, belonging to the Polygalaceae family. It has a twisted root that varies in color from pale yellow-grey to brown-grey and at the upper end, has a thick and irregular, knotty crown. Its rich green leaves are small and alternate, and its numerous light pink flowers are small and crowded on a narrow terminal spike.
