Description:
Pleurisy is a perennial plant, belonging to the Asclepiadaceae family. It has a fleshy spindle shaped tuberous root stock that bears a few stout and hairy stems, alternate oblong dark green leaves, and a panicle of deep yellow and orange flowers on the apex of the stem.
