Culinary Uses: To make a tea, pour 1 cup boiling water over 2 teaspoons of Plantain Leaf, cover and steep 3-5 minutes.
Medicinal Uses: Plantain is used to clear mucous from the body, and to neutralize poisons. As a mild tea it is used to treat lung problems in children, and as a stronger tea is used to treat stomach ulcers. It is also used for diarrhea, bladder infections, and for treating wounds.
