Culinary Uses:
To make a tea, pour 1 cup boiling water over 2 teaspoons of Oatstraw, cover and steep 3-5 minutes.

Oat tops contain high amounts of bone-building materials and is good for bones, skin, hair and nails. It also helps to relieve exhaustion, depression, spasms, lumbago, and paralysis. Oats help to reducce blood cholesterol levels. Oatstraw can be used externally for irritated and inflamed dry skin.
