Description:
Oak Moss is a whitish blue to green, shrubby lichen, belonging to the Usneaceae family. A lichen is an alga and a fungus operating together in a symbiotic relationship. Oak Moss grows primarily on the trunk and branches of various deciduous trees. This lacy looking moss with its pointed tips and earthy scent can be used as an addition to potpourri mixes.
