Description:
Mandrake, known as Mayapple, is a herbaceous perennial belonging to the Solanaceae family. It has a reddish-brown root that is composed of many thick tubers, a solitary unbranched stem that is crowned with two smooth umbrella-like leaves, and a a solitary, drooping white flower.

Mandrake is a very strong gland stimulant. Mandrake works with the liver, gallbladder and all aspects of digestion. It is used to treat skin problems, digestion, and chronic liver diseases.
