Description:
Lavender is a aromatic perennial evergreen plant belonging to the Labiateae (Lamiaceae) family. It has a branched, woody stem with narrow bluish-green leaves, and spikes of tiny and fragrant, purple-blue, two-lipped flowers. The dried flowers of the Lavender plant add long-lasting fragrance to sachets and potpourris, scented soaps, perfumes and aromatic tobaccos.
