Description:
Jasmine, known as True Yellow Jasmine, is a tropical/subtropical plant belonging to the Oleaceae family. It has a woody, twining stem, evergreen lanceolate leaves, and , very fragrant funnel-shaped yellow flowers that only have two stamens. Jasmine is a popular herb used to scent love sachets and incenses.

Jasmine Flowers can be added to black tea to add a delightful aroma and flavor.
To make a tea, pour 1 cup boiling water over 1/4 teaspoon of Jasmine flowers, cover and steep 3-5 minutes.

Jasmine is well respected for its aphrodisiac properties and is believed to promote relaxation. It helps to ease childbirth and makes less painful.
