Description:
Guar Gum is the powder extracted seeds the Guar plant, an annual herb belonging to the Leguminosae (Fabaceae) family. The fruit produced by the Guar Plant is a sparsely haired legume with 5 to 6 seeds that have a very well developed, slimy endosperm. The Gum powder extracted by milling it from the endosperm. A wet or dry milling process separates the endosperm from the seed shell.
